Uppdatering från Sita, vår kontaktperson för skolan i Kunchok:

Hi, the construction work of Kunchok school is in progress. The construction company is assembling the walls in Kathmandu. As soon as it is ready, it will be transported to Kunchok despite the blockade and fuel shortages.

Vi fick just nyheten att Lego donerar 9 kg Legoklossar till Make a Kid Smile. SSHL-elever är på väg till Kunchok om två veckor och de tar då med sig klossarna till den nya skolan som håller på att byggas upp. Allt förstördes i jordbävningarna och barnen behöver verkligen nya pedagogiska leksaker. Bilder från resan kommer att publiceras här i bloggen.

Do you remember the Christmas market at Wenngarn castle where Make a Kid smile was present. The result of that event was over 13000SEK (about 1400 Euro) going to rebuild the school in Kunchock. The visitors bought gift cards and scarfs from Nepal and Wenngarn gave the same sum as their contribution. Thanks a lot for that!
